Our History
1956 boatbuilder Günther Lütje founded the shipyard in Hamburg as a one-man operation for small motorboats, laying the foundation for individually crafted yachts built by hand.
1988 his son Thomas Lütje took over the shipyard and developed Yachtwerft Lütje into a respected address for custom-built sailing and motor yachts of exceptional craftsmanship.
Since September 2025, Johannes Beck, as managing director and master boatbuilder, and Hans Stützle, as owner, have continued the tradition of high-quality yacht construction and are guiding the shipyard purposefully into the future. Alongside high-quality winter storage, the focus is on new builds, refits, components for the superyacht sector, and service.
